Too me if I want to stream a County game especially a home one, I want the best possible quality stream of which County do a good job of. So I would never dream of trying an illegal stream of a County match, or even some of the poorer quality away games.
I'm not convinced regarding my suggestions that many people would want (if they are true County fans} to deprive the club of revenue, plus not everyone will have the knowledged or desire to do so.
If the purpose of any post lockdown streaming is for exiles/housebound, I wonder what demand there would be for illegal streaming of such games for other football fans(as massive as we are)?
There is no doubt there is a potential problem in preventing even a limited stream to the people mentioned being illegally available to others. However,I don't see this as a major threat.
I'm no digital expert, but where there's a will there's a way surely for streaming of this nature to be blocked somehow to those not paying.
It would be interesting to know what the streaming figures for County's current streaming of games is, and I wonder if any of the streams are shared between people?. At the modest £7.50 a stream surely it's not many.
