There is however a huge void when the ball enters the 18 yard box. I am not a particular fan of Richie Bennett and not too keen on Reid's wastefulness and selfishness despite his record with County. I agree quality is needed up front - after all that is what all clubs crave and that is generally where the money is spent. I am sad to say the money spent on Williams seems a waste. Walker seems rusty which is understandable and Newby did not look out of depth despite critics saying we were not adding to the squad by borrowing from NLN. Well he and Cardwell are certainly more effective than Dalby who looks worse than Bell on an off day! The squad is huge now and the prospect of going up by, let's say the playoffs - is a worry given how unsuitable for L2 some of these players are. The issue of contracts must be a concern to the owners as some are just not up to it even in this league.And 3.5 years for an unproven manager is just madness.
