Your honour I know Mr.Gannon had about 500 games as manager, which would normally equate to 10/11 seasons. So are three success, admittedly the most success a single County manager has ever had, over such a time acceptable? Well, on further evidence 05-06 incomplete, appointed, but kept us up 06-07 6th (just outside play offs) 07-08 won play off 08-09 in play offs until admin points deducted 11-12 incomplete, appointed 12-13 incomplete, sacked 15-16 incomplete, reappointed , won Cheshire Senior Cup 16-17 8th, just outside play offs 17-18 lost in play offs 18-19 Champions 19-20 incomplete, but in play off spot 20-21 incomplete, sacked, but in play off spot
Members of the jury, in only six complete seasons Mr.Gannon got us promoted twice and won a trophy each season into the bargain. In one of the other three 'complete' seasons we were deducted points, which realistically stopped us being successful. I also put it to you how well he/we did in nearly all the incomplete seasons.
Is Mr.Gannon guilty? Can the prosecution come up with counter arguments for each of my points, rather than just say 'crap, boring' football? Which is a weak argument of people who, for reasons best known to themselves, seem to want to criticise the success of a club they claim to love. If this level of success was crap and boring, give me more of it.
