There are a couple on the other boards but quite a few who see a defeat as a positive if it means that Rusk departs so that Jim will return.
I was ###### off with Jims departure but I'd expected it for a while especially when he was answerable to the font of all knowledge. They misread the supporters big time. Whether they are remotely interested is another matter.
Jim could have won every game 5-0 and it would never have been good enough. Jim is his own man and that doesn't fit with the reporting structure bollox. I hope that Simon Rusk is his own man too.
Rusks Bench yesterday was very odd as were his substitutions. JK could have gone off script and asked him why. I suppose he could have played the injury card but we'll never know.
His tactics appear odd and slow down the game which doesn't help our quicker players however the state of the pitch may have something to do with that as well.
I want to see a number 9 come in who is prepared to stick his head in where it hurts and attack the ball. When it connects it rips the back of the net. Shows some energy and passion and acts like he wants to be a cult hero. That should invigorate (some of) the current team and make Rusk all the better for it.
