I have not posted anything regarding Jim's departure til now having spent a week considering it. Some of the comments have been OTT and Mr Stott's wealth and political philanthropy have nothing to do with Jim leaving.. Regarding the change of manager surely Employment Law would be in force if Jim felt he had been unfairly dismissed. Results etc. would be on his side but if, as suspected, something had been going on which the club felt had to stop, the only option available was taken. The club is full of round holes and Jim was a square peg. I am suspicious player power was involved and that after previous rumours Jim may have been given time to change things but possibly this did not happen.
Regarding Rusk I wish him and his crew well. Mark McGhee did NOT impress me. Sounded like "I am here cos I was offered something to do" I doubt the new Manager and assistant will be selling homes on the south coast- I wouldn't- so the way they settle locally will be interesting. I do hope the football improves from the rather robotic stuff I have watched lately. I can see a few of the squad suddenly not in future plans- mostly the old guard. I do think Rusk was on the 'back burner' and the club was buying time to see how things went with Jim in charge, The appointment seemed to have been well planned
