    Where do we look though?

Tom Denton is currently the National league's leading scorer with 9 whilst Wright, Cheek and Barratt at Torquay, Bromley and Maidenhead are decent but are they netter than Alex Reid?

In League 2 Paul Mullin has bagged 18 in 21 games for Cambridge this season whilst his fellow striker Joe Ironside has 8. Mullin left Tranmere towards the end of last season joining Cambridge on loan before signing for them in the summer. He seems to be a "fit" at Cambridge.

In League 1 Jonson Clarke-Harris of Peterborough and Luke Jephcott of Plymouth both have 13. Would they be looking for a move North and a drop down 2 leagues? They probably have their eyes set in the other direction.

As it stands I, like most, would be happy to see a top quality 30 goal a season striker come in. Trouble is that they are rare and whilst they work out at one club they don't at another. It's early days for Reid and Bennett. They work well as a partnership when the service is right. It's too early to start jettisoning either for another option that may or may not work.
