There will be an official announcement from The Bear Pit in Mersey Square at 5am tomorrow morning...the press will attend at their discretion... Oaf will give an opening statement from his bike and then to make the announcement go viral, Hampton will skateboard down the Plaza Steps before being loaded into a barrel and chucked unceremoniously over the balustrade of the Bear Pit into the river Mersey...where he’ll hopefully end up in Liverpool to make his speech on the steps of The Liver Building. The story that Cartier Industries are going to merge Stockport County with Sale Quoits, I have to say, has some truth in it... ....but you’ll have to await the official announcement tomorrow! Once we get used of quoits instead of football and with the new 76,000 all standing new ground in the pipeline, happy times lie ahead!
