It seems to me Jim was furious with more than one player at the Notts County game ....his interview reflects that without naming names obviously. Putting members of the squad who haven’t had a look in up to now, is the right thing to do for a Trophy game , he can sideline the poor performing players from Tuesday night to show his disdain, and at the same time give the “wannabes “ game time to see how good ( or no good ) they are, to feature in the way of things for first 11 status . I think he would have had time in training to formulate the changes to his “ normal “ first 11, but tactics with players of limited experience taking the field could be a tad more difficult IMO . All in all we have plenty to be grateful for , the future is very bright so let’s count our blessings shall we mac ?
