Rugby League and Union is more advanced than football in how the game is managed. Coaches/ manager sit high up a stand and with a better view of all the pitch makes decisions and relays them by phone to an assistant on the bench to pass on. Looks so amateurish watching managers shouting at players, then shouting at ref and liners instead of making calm measured decisions.
