Looked back at Hatters Matters "On This Day". 15 years ago we played Northampton at EP and came out on top 4-2. Pretty routine you might think. Hardly. It was the 5th and last league win of that calendar year. We got 29 from a possible 135 points; saw 45 players; started the year well adrift at the bottom of League 1 and ended it looking at a drop to the Conference. Here's my take on those 12 months - and for light relief there's a link to the goals from the Northampton game, including a cracker from Tes Bramble, one of the few highlights of a dismal time. 2005 - a grim 12 months |
