Interesting few minutes on BBC Sports App on this great player from the 70`s, a Jamaican born immigrant who went on to play for West Ham during a time of racial and political unrest. What a great example of a humble, down to earth gentleman who just happened to be a talented footballer. My own personal "Best " memory was not only Alan Ogleys save from his last gasp chip in the 1972 league cup match , but he was magnanimous in defeat to the extent that, along with a local law enforcement officer, he helped carry the injured Alan Ogley off the field at the end of the game.
A true sporting giant and a true gent aswell
Well worth 3 minutes of any ones time. BBC Sports App.
