    1. AGM 2020

We are anxious that, despite the continuing restrictions on contact and movement due to the pandemic, our AGM and elections go ahead in accordance with the Rulebook. That said, acknowledging the aforementioned difficulties, we have decided that these will need to take place online, via Zoom (or similar platform) and members would need to be given a code to enable them to enter the meeting.

A provisional date of Monday 23 November 2020 at 7.30 pm has been agreed upon, and Caz Burt our Independent Secretary is hard at work organising this important event in our calendar.

We will circulate the relevant documents in good time, inviting nominations for the Cooperative Board.

    2. Community Ticket initiative
Following the success of this scheme , the Supporters Cooperative have 685 tickets left over from last season that have been paid for and we will be seeking confirmation as to whether or not this highly successful scheme will be continuing when circumstances allow.

    3. Cabin.
After years of successfully communicating with members and the fan base, of supporting the Guardian Account, the Club and Stockport homeless charity The Wellspring from the site on the Cheadle End car park, we have now vacated the cabin .
When match days resume, the Co-op have been offered a space in the Family Lounge- by no means an ideal venue from which to base ourselves when crowds return to EP, but we will have a regular presence there and outside the ground on match days, with at least one board member contactable.
    Seek us out!

    4. Events / Fundraising

    Hatters Half Marathon 2021

We have agreed that the Hatters Half Marathon 2021 should go ahead as long as the Club agrees to Edgeley Park being used again, and we look forward to hopefully welcoming 400 + runners from all over the UK, and the large crowd of spectators that support the race and a host of worthy charities, when the pandemic is no more.

The race, as well as now being well established in the national road/ trail racing calendar, is a massive showcase for the Stockport, the Club and of course ourselves as promoters , and we just cannot wait to get this event centre stage again !

    New Charity Partner? n:gage Life?

It was suggested that n:gage life be adopted as the Co-op’s Charity of the Year either instead of, or in conjunction with, the Wellspring.

N:gage life is a registered community interest group which aims to inspire & support some of the most vulnerable in our community, 13-18 year olds on the edge of, or already in too deep with, drug & gang activity.
It was agreed to put it to the membership at the AGM for a decision, but if you want to find out about n:gage life go here:-
