    The common denominator in this theme is the present football pyramid system is desperately in need of reform.

    However, The Premiership... those sitting pretty at the top of the tree, don’t want a root and branch inspection and investigation with a view to changing the system - surprise surprise .

    I’m in agreement with you PhilR and charter ( excellent piece 57 Hatters Years ) and there may well be a chink in the Premiership armour given Liverpool and Chelsea said a day or so ago, they would be sympathetic to the cause .
    Be interesting to know how each of the 20 clubs voted in the majority vote .

    If there’s going to be any action to change football as we know it, there has to be a Commission into it by the Culture Media and Sport minister.... not likely with COVID-19 firmly top of the agenda. Not only that “ the nanny state “ isn’t a popular way to change “ the world “ is it
