... there are plenty of articles on the back pages of the national newspaper this morning covering this so go on the web with Google (or Duck Duck Go as I do ) to make of it what you may !
The plea to Government easing restrictions seem to be centred on the “ minnow “ clubs with hundreds not thousands of spectators.
There could be a wider issue with non league pro and semi pro clubs in 5th & 6 th tiers (albeit government define “ elite “ clubs as Premier to 6th tier leagues ) as their response to the letter seems to be “ yes you can do it if the F.A. come up with an acceptable plan adhering to coronavirus protocol “.
They would need to publish a risk assessment limiting the number of spectators and assisting NHS Test & Trace scheme by collecting info’ from spectators.
An FA spokesperson said “ we continue to follow government advice working continually with Sports Ground Safety Authority, *DCMS and Leagues, to seek a safe return ( for supporters ) as soon as feasibly possible” .
“Passing the buck“ comes to mind but the BBC Sports website covers this article as well , without my comments to distract you from your porridge haha
