    Potential Coop arranged Fans Forum ? Archived Message

    Just a personal thought, what does everyone think of it?

    Given all the upheaval and uncertainty in life never mind football there is much discussion on matters more off the field than on it!

    This is especially true for County given our new ownership and executive set up.

    The “in the know leaks” have apparently been well plugged with us the rank and file support relying on conjecture and guesswork typically via message boards and social media generally as to what has, is and will be happening to our club.

    Already it seems given comments in the public domain that frustration is starting to undermine initial enthusiasm and optimism for some.

    Also commented on is that given the world economic meltdown due to the pandemic there have been “rumblings” on social media that our new owner could amend his original "grand plan" for County, there has also been comment on the other board that his companies “ethics” are open for interpretation the link for those who never visit there is https://theyellowboard.boards.net/thread/3722/mark-stott-optimism

    Festus has gone and it was a great move for him and we all hope it was a great deal for the club but a big question for supporters now is who will be the first signing Simon Wilson will make..and when?

    Also what is to happen with the planned redevelopment of EP etc etc?

    Obviously with the sale happening just as lock down etc began they have not had any opportunity to meet us , not least for us to congratulate and thank them “in person” on their decision and published commitment to reviving our fortunes both on and off the pitch and for both short and long term!

    I’m sure the club have everything under control and will be issuing statements on whatever they feel we should know about when they think it apt and prudent to do so but for some the silence is deafening so my suggestion for the Coop is to suggest , when they next get the opportunity to do so on our behalf would be to get an early firm commitment to have an open all fans forum at EP to allow them the opportunity to meet us and vice versa and to have a QA which would hopefully kick start what Covid prevented back in January !
