And as I said it’s not just about cheap clothes, it’s widespread across many sectors, the phones we are typing on cost us hundreds of pounds but are made for Apple etc for relative peanuts and those making them will also earn very little. As you say the power is in the hands of the consumer but chances of anyone giving up their cheap clothes and even more so willing to pay more for their phones is minimal. Meanwhile some of the retailers/brand owners are quids in.
