For those of a certain age the care home scenario is scary though....and there is much hate and anger currently being focussed on the PM personally on other sites regarding his comments in the press
He said "One of the things the crisis has shown is we need to think about how we organise our social care package better and how we make sure we look after people better who are in social care".
"We discovered too many care homes didn't really follow the procedures in the way that they could have but we're learning lessons the whole time."
Now irrelevant on the accuracy and truth of his comment and the very robust and angry responses by the care industry it has certainly worried many, including me, on what has transpired in homes irrelevent as to whose fault it was...and I would 100% rather pay for a visit to Switzerland than ever become a resident...that is in many, many, many years time of course!
And even though business secretary Alok Sharma said that the Prime Minister had been pointing out that no-one had known what the correct procedures were.
"What the Prime Minister was pointing out is nobody knew what the correct procedures were, because we know that the extent of the asymptomatic cases was not known at the time.
Its only added to the worry of old age and infirmaty
