    Whilst supping in the Chunky with a then member of the board he mentioned that he’d prefer it if we didn’t sing “We’re on the p*** with...Adam Proudlock” whenever he scored...a certain well known figure on here remarked “What do you think he does after the game?...have a nice cup of tea!?” to which we both started singing “Nice cup of tea with...Adam Proudlock”
    It caught on as it was well known the lad was trying to sort himself out and for a while his goal celebration was drinking an invisible cup of tea (complete with raised little finger) as opposed to pretending to guzzle pints.
    Of course he then changed it to pretending to have a couple of six shooters.

    Brilliant player who gave us some fantastic memories.
