Take almost anything from the moment JG left after his second spell until he returned.
Particular lowlights include in no particular order.
1. Kidderminister.
2. When you saw the type of teams we were playing, their fanbases, their grounds and realised how hard we had fallen - in 2013.
3. Around 2013-2014 when we were losing, often heavily to these teams, Rushall, Oxford City, Hednesford etc...and it became really clear despite our best hopes we weren't going to bounce straight back out and start our climb. Deep down we all knew we wouldn't, but we hoped we might, and having it confirmed was sickening.
4. The period just before JG returned when it was starting to feel like we might never get back, like we might still be in non-League in 10,15,30,40 years time. Just another Southport, Barrow, Workington, just a northern non-League club who had once been a lower League stalwart.
