Over here in Cyprus, the relaxation of lockdown rules starts today.
The rules were stricter than the UK. Curfew 9pm - 6am, €300 fines if caught breaking the curfew. SMS messages sent for permission to go to the supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, excersise. Any repatriation flights in, all passengers in 14 day isolation in a hotel room.
The strictness of the rules have worked. To date less than 800 with Covid, only 15 deaths.
From today, curfew 10pm - 6am, can excersise 3 times a day with permission. Small shops can open, customer and shop staff must wear face masks and gloves plus the 2 meter spacing.
Next week restaurants can open but only outside seating possible.
Cyprus, very reliant on tourism, is hoping to open the airports in June. Subject of course that there isn't a spike in Covid cases.
