1) Suspend the league and restart and complete at a later date. This would be messy, complicated, and would require problem solving and concessions from all involved, FA, league, PFA, players, TV, sponsors, civil authorities - but is doable, the fairest, and is my preferred choice.
2) Void the season completely - not my preferred choice but would accept it as 2nd best option.
3) Some sort of horrible mishmash involving PPG and/or Duckworth-Lewis, and/or average crowds which will lead teams into calls of they might have won the league/got in the playoffs/stayed up if the season had been completed/another calculation was used, and would be massively unfair on all involved.
I've voted 2) to void it because I don't see anything but intransigence from the authorities regarding the possibility of exploring 1) and I fear they might be trying to aim for 3).
