"Experts" saying they're not required in U.K. but in Spain they are making them compulsory in public places - supermercado's, farmacia's etc

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question though....
Our lockdown has been eased slightly for kids under 14 but it has been extended until May 9th with phased de-escalation set for the 2nd half of May if and where possible. All health workers are now being tested before they start their shifts according to a local English speaking town councillor on his, now regular, radio spot on Spectrum F.M.'s morning updates.
