Not trying to be a dick, but .... anyone watch Ross Kemp last night? He was in a hospital in Kent, the admin nurse was saying they were 450 nurses / staff etc short because they’ve self isolated as a precaution or personal reasons so they had to draft in staff from other areas to cover. The A&E department was bare, and the A&E staff saying they’ve never seen it so quiet and we’re stood about, the ICU staff were in control and the ICU wasn’t over filled albeit close to capacity, I’ve also been in a few hospitals in the NW recently and witnessed similar, The point I’m alluding to is I get we’re in the midst of a pandemic, and the medical staff are having to work harder than normal . 12-14 hr shifts? No breaks? that not what they signed up for?, if the military personal, doctors , nurses , medics do them hours it’s a routine day, for 12 years the Army medical staff worked tirelessly sometimes for 24-48hrs if not more with out rest during the 12years of Afghanistan? Did we clap them every Thursday ?, the NHS signed up for this just like everyone in the Military, police etc,
