Almost. Bradford was the Saturday after the Thursday Staines game, so a very quick turnaround. I remember very clearly saying that the Poole goal would be the turning point. But there was still another blip.
We didn't play the following Saturday as we were out of the FA Cup, and our next league game was Lincoln at home on the Tuesday night when we lost 3-1. That was the final defeat in the losing streak at home when we lost five in a row and plenty were calling for Jim to go. But we then beat Wycombe 6-0 on the Saturday, followed that up with a 2-0 win at Macc and never looked back.
