He certainly would not be underrated for his skill, that was off the charts. Lost in the mists of time now but in the grand historic scheme of things and looking back over many years of following County, I would have to say Len White because he was the player that played such a huge part of the turnaround that began in the sixties under the great Vic Bernard. You can almost pinpoint the exact week it happened when he scored a hat trick in a 7-1 win AT Bradford City and then home to Barnsley to score the most memorable goal in County history in a one nil win in front of a massive Edgeley Park crowd. And of course the goal at Anfield when bottom of the Fourth County took it to the Champions Liverpool and were robbed of a victory as Liverpool hung on for a 1-1 tie. So Len White for me.
