    Yeah remember that, not even a fence you could pull down as the bottom of the terrace was below pitch level, not nice.

    Birmingham & Stoke away, always moody, had to run the gauntlet at Maine rd. a couple of times too,
    (on top of dodging the batteries,coins,pies, & contents of their filthy mouths aimed at us during the game)

    Always shenanigans at Burnley, remember getting off the train once with about 30 County, a well known County character gave us a bit of a pep talk, " right lads we'll cut through this shopping centre & round the corner is their boozer, there'll be about 300 of them waiting for us but don't worry, just stand & they'll s%*t themselves" I've never been great at maths but even my brain managed to compute the odds of 30 against 300 weren't great!

    Luton - marched back to the station tailed by Luton's mob but our group was considerably larger, we were getting taxis to meet up for a drink elsewhere, The Luton lads kept their distance, observing us from a bridge, as fleets of taxis arrived steadily depleting our group, the Luton mob starting growing, Myself & 2 mates were the last County remaining, My arse started twitching as taxi's stopped arriving & i remember thinking we're going to cop here big time! just as the Luton lads started to come down off the bridge towards us a black cab turned up, me & my mates literally dived into it, cue lots of face pulling & hand gestures out of the window to the Luton lads who had started to chase the taxi That taxi driver got a very generous tip!
