Just been down to my local shops. There is a butcher, a bakery etc... independent local shops. They are pretty good and use them regularly. Went in the bakery to get some barms, as I was paying I was told they are taking orders of bread for tomorrow if I wanted to order? Thanks for telling me but I’ve just walked in the shop and bought some bread. Why do I need to pre-order more? Then the local butchers are selling trays of 70 eggs and sacks of potatoes. There was a queue out of the door. Is this all necessary? Great that the businesses are trying to provide for people but it’s fuelling the panic. Nobody needs 70 eggs or a sack of potatoes. |
