Some of the complacency on display (generally, I mean) is pretty staggering. Irrespective of the sense or otherwise in relying on one man to chuck money at a club, who knows what impact this will have on his circumstances and ability to keep funding us through an indeterminate period of time? We've moved from operating on the basis of aiming for self sufficiency to one of pumping in money, some of which may be a genuine investment in the club but some of which won't have a financial benefit. There is little doubt that this is necessary if we're going to get out of NL. But it does not come without risk.
