Well, that depends IF or NOT there are people present who are carriers. If there are any such then hand washing is not really an easy job when in a football crowd. So, it is possible for many areas to have viral residues left in places where many hands may follow and touch.
If then, food is eaten before hands have a chance to be washed then the virus will spread directly to the individual.
Then we see the real problem — it will be impossible to trace the contacts and so we get into a scenario of speedy transmission of the disease.
I know that when you are well, you want the games to go ahead, but if you catch the disease you may then wish you had been persuaded to act differently.
