    Not necessarily, no. If you’re a team who’s bottom of the league and you’ve got to play the five or six sides above you in the last 8/9 games, you’d be fuming with that.

    There isn’t a really fair way to do it. I think I’d be tempted to perhaps take the team who’s played the most games so far, and anyone who has a game in hand gets their average points tally just for those games though.

    I suppose the real fairest way to do it would be to have no promotion and relegation this year, but to be honest there’s a handful of games left. If the only way to play them is to do so behind closed doors, or have a shortened pre-season, so be it.
