It isn't.
The other side of the coin, is that Walker waits a few days (the take over was imminent), signs a deal, gets the money he wants, takes us into the play offs and he is potentially playing in the Football League next season - and why not, he transformed us when he joined, alongside Rodney.
He's then in the shop window for other FL clubs, with the opportunity to advance his career either with us or another FL club.
I know these players aren't fans and don't have the emotional attachment we do, but it isn't just black and white. A matter of a few extra quid.
We also have a fantastic manager that develops younger players and if they work hard, they can go on to the top level and earn £000's a week like Ashley Williams, Anthony Pilkington, etc.
Walker's career could potentially go backwards now, it's likely he could be playing National League North football next season. Duxbury's career already has gone backwards, wouldn't be surprised to see him knocking around in the North West Counties soon.
