| Tremendous set of questions. On number one Id be curious to know if PNE are also the answer to 'which team has finished in top half of second tier most often in Premiership era without ever getting promoted' as they seem perennial bridesmaids in that respect. On number eleven Melchester Rovers are certainly the answer to 'which football team have featured most regularly in trick questions within football quizzes'. I remember with fondness the Kemp brothers playing for them. A few years later Shakin Stevens turned out briefly for Fulchester United as a team mate of Billy the Fish, but his knock-kneed running style proved a hindrance at elite level, I think he tripped over and landed in a heap immediately on taking the pitch. |
