I went to Munich for mine, we went to 1860 Munich II.
Tbh, the standard was shocking. Worse than Conference North. The score was something stupidly amateurish like 12-7.
Having said that, there was still about 2000 there, flags and flares going off. And you can booze in the stand. But if you've been put off B teams before then I'd swerve it.
We did originally have tickets for Unterhaching, the game was scheduled for the Saturday afternoon but it was moved to the previous Tuesday without any mention of it on the website. No idea if that's common practice but worth keeping an eye on.
As for bars, no idea. We stayed in the Hotel Cristal (or Crystal) near the station that was quite a nice place and well priced. Much better than a grotty hostel or Travelodge style place.
The Olympic stadium is worth visiting, we went there over the Allianz. Stunning place, although sadly the pitch has gone.
As for booze, you can't really go wrong. Quite a few big beer halls which are worth visiting and having food in, and then there's pubs and ale houses on every corner really.
