    Hello to all - first message on YB.
    My main reason for joining after all these years was to try to put alternative views on what I was reading.
    I’ll start here, it’s as good as anywhere.
    I get what some members are saying about Dan Cowan but it looks almost personal to some people. SLomas spends more time berating Cowan than anything else. You would think he was either related or had a chipped shoulder! I’m not sure if he was there today, but Cowan was played way out of position at LB, no excuse but why? Can we blame him? Would Minihan have done any better?
    I personally don’t get the Sam Minihan love-in. He’s a good player and is a good servant of the club and I agree he’s an all- action player but does his stats bear that out? My guess is that goals/assists won’t be too different between Cowan and Minihan, considering Minihans played more games this season.
    For what it’s worth, we need a player who’s as good defending (on the right) as Cowan, but with the attacking endeavour of a Duxbury.
    Not easy to find, unfortunately.
