Everyone is entitled to be the person they want to be so if he's come out as gay then good on him for doing so
but...
Why would you do it after 27 years of marriage to a woman? I've got gay friends and they knew by the time they were 11 or 12 that they started thinking other boys at their schools were attractive. They also have always maintained that being gay is something you're born with, you can't just "learn to be gay" at some stage of your life! That's the part I don't get with this, he's had a loving wife for almost 3 decades, 2 grown up daughters, his career isn't exactly starting to fade so it's not like he needs the publicity but all of a sudden he's decided he's gay?
