    Because it is important for the fans to have a unified voice that can speak for us and represent us to the club. It can be a vehicle for so much good. With the potentially bright future over the coming years the co-op can allow fans to have a say in that future. For example the co-op can be potentially consulted on how Edgeley Park is redeveloped.

    It can be a way for us to bring concerns to the club and fight for our interests but it’s only as strong as its membership. Like any union of people it is its members. The more of us that join the stronger it is, and I say that as someone who is terrible at remembering to renew.

    It is also there to pick up the pieces if the proverbial hits the fan and the club dies. Which is always a possibility.
