I know that missed opportunities happen at all levels of football; but on balance teams who score most goals usually end higher up the table. If a team can average 1.75 goals per match and/or 1.75 points per games played they will be up with the top crowd. There is another issue which is allied; teams who draw a large number of matches would be well above their present level if half of those had been won. Look at the table and the positions of; Boreham Wood, Notts County and Hartlepool. |
