The front men were isolated. But frankly we could have had four central strikers and they’d have still been isolated. We were man for man not as good as Hartlepool on the day and it wasn’t the formation that was the problem. They were quicker than us to every ball and passed it around in a manner that I’ve seen us do in the past but that we aren’t doing at the moment. We would give the ball away on the second or third pass when we weren’t just resorting to hoofing it.
Also note that front men was said, plural. That’s not just Archer in the middle that’s the wide players too.
