I quite liked him as a player and character. He certainly seemed to leave nothing on the pitch.
As for the gambling, it must be awful. I like a flutter, no more than maybe 10-15 quid a week on skybet, and I generally break even over a year.
There have been times when I've been too drunk with mates, and gone to the casino and lost a fair bit. The guilt I felt in the morning (as a man with 3 kids) was horrific. To feel like that almost constantly must be horrible. I feel for anyone going through that.
The government seem to be doing little bits, but more should be done. They certainly shouldn't have cash machines in a casino in my opinion.
