A curious interview of three halves. In the first one, where the focus is on what's just happened, I actually think Jim sounds a little unsettled by the change, there's a lot of talk of 'fears' and 'concerns' and wanting to protect the players from what he says could become 'a circus'. In the second, when the interview focusses on the games just played, he's a lot more bullish and less inclined to be sensitive to the emotions of his players, pretty much saying that a few of them need to shape up or be shipped out. In the third, when asked about the long term plans/vision and where he sees himself in them, he's a mixture of confidence ('exciting times ahead') and a hint of that uncertainty again ('still proud if it ended tomorrow...'hope I'll get the chance to take us forward').
I guess Jim is human like the rest of us. When big changes happen at your workplace, a whole load of emotions are unleashed.
