Last night, Bell / Mulhearn were on a hiding to nothing with Hinchliffe's punts being the main source. Obviously we need better finishers but if the idea of two strikers is outdated, you need the players/strategy to give the 9 support quickly when in possession. Warburton provided that link and shared the goal scoring burden last season but without him or maybe a Danny Lloyd to help out, the lone strikers role can be a thankless task.
