Andrew Neil is a narcissistic bully only interested in taking the crown from Paxman as the most feared a ruthless interviewer.
Jeremy Corbyn failed miserably in his interview and totally wilted under the pressure he was put under, it proved to many how weak, insipid, inept, inconsequential and incompetent he would be on the world stage.
The other “leaders” Neil interviewed simply proved they were not relevant to the end result. It was between Corbyn and Johnson
So what had Boris got to gain by subjecting himself to the incessant aggressive barrage from Neil – nothing whatsoever it would be lose-lose and his minders see that, sadly Jeremy Corbyns didn’t!
Had he succumbed to being pilloried like Corbin he too wouldn’t have been allowed to give answers before the next insult was hurled at him .....he has however avoided a potential car crash Not appearing may indicate to many that he was afraid but equally it could be argued that he was strong and decisive by dictating terms and was above this type of sensationalist TV interrogation ...he could argue it would be insulting and demeaning - not to Boris as a person - but to the role of any “statesman” and specifically Prime Minister. People have and will continue make their own opinions but unlike his opponents who have been fatally embarrassed by Neil it seems Boris has done a very clever sidestep of a disastrous car crash...Boris may have been as bad as Corbyn but we will never get to compare or know...all we know is how Corbyn failed , he was thrown to the lions by his advisors, Boris's minders saw what happened and chose a more prudent and robust strategy .....just my opinion you understand.
