Add in the fact that Co-op auctions usually drive up the price above market value, that should have going for nearly ten times that. £30 is scandalous.
Very disappointing personally too. I donated that back in the Dave Marchbank days on the understanding it’d be held back as a proper fundraiser for the Co-op. I get that an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay but can’t help but feel that with a few more plugs/promotion this would have pulled big money in. I’d have happily paid £50 for each of them just to stop them selling for £30!
A big shame, but not the end of the world. Whoever has got them has a right bargain.
