So you are saying that the manager has said (not implied) he had/has sufficient budget to replace dux, Stott and warby with replacements that would at least not weaken the squad.
It hasn't happened therefore it stands to reason that you are throwing Gannon under the bus for the lack of replacements and threadbare squad.
I think that is not the case and that it's similar to when Alan Lord was manager, he had 'a budget', he didn't moan about it either. It was described as a 'top five budget' and anyone who questioned the budget was subjected to abuse from the likes of you.
Lordy was widely castigated on here for our poor form after, as I put it, the money ran out and I spent most of the season explaining that the top 5 budget claim was a load of bollox.
Of course we now know it was £200k and to use the turn of phrase you like, the owners are liars, it wasn't a top 5 budget. I happen to think they didn't have a bleedin clue what they were doing and genuinely thought it was too 5 therefore I have described them appropriately ever since.
NB, 'the likes of you' doesn't mean it necessarily was you but it probably was you.
