There's been plenty on his back, but not sure I'd call what I've seen on Facebook criticism as such. It's more toys out of pram with little actual substance.
As it is, I think he's addressed the issue in his post match interview brilliantly.
The consensus seems to be that we've ran out of steam and our obvious lack of quality/depth in the squad is now laid bare. We've only just replaced Warburton with Hamill (and even then on a temp basis), we've got no left back of any note and we're missing a centre back to fill the spot Stott made his own.
When we won 5 in 6, it was understandable for us to conclude we might actually be ok. Now we've lost our last 5 quite badly, it's clear we need to improve.
JG stated there's money there and he will now spend it. He said maybe he shouldn't have trusted the players in the squad who he had concerns about. So he's pretty much taken it on the chin and said he'll act.
In doing so he's headed off the stick he might have got and he's also shown he's not infallible himself. It's a decent trait which he's not always been associated with down the years.
As frustrating 5 losses are, it's all a bit of a storm in a teacup. He's the man for the job for most people, but even most of them (me included) know he's human and makes mistakes. He's now said it himself and stated he'll rectify. Not much left to say really.
We'll be upper mid-table by the end of the season and we'll continue to grow.
