Because that is what has brought us success under Jim.
Look at the transformation of the squad both I terms of personnel and in terms of the development of individual players from when Jim came back in January 2016 to when we won promotion last April.
Some of the players we have now don't seem capable of developing that far.
So if we're serious about pushing on, up, and out of this level then we need to say goodbye to those players and get new ones in.
Rather do that than change the formations, tactics etc to suit substandard players.
That way when new more capable of developing players come in at least we have a core who are used to Jim's ways, tactics, formation, to build the team/squad around.
