I'm glad you mention Turnbull. For me he is now just a useful utility midfielder who can do a job. But he just slows the game down too much and plays the ball far too slowly.For me, Keene is the best defensive midfielder and at home we don't need more. What we need is pace and fast movement and a bit of energetic creativity. Yes we need a LB but once Palmer is back I'd pair him with Arthur and push Keene up and focus financial resources on getting a more powerful aggressive midfield ( maybe Dimaio could still do a job then) and see what Piggott and Hammill can do with more support and quality ball through to them. |
