A very unreliable source has stated on here that the concert cash wasn't trousered (as I suggested) it has been held back just in case there were problems with the pitch.
The unreliable source didn't elaborate on the plan so we don't know if the cash will be held back all season 'just in case' (that's trousered in my book) or released as soon as the pitch has been tested and come through with flying colours.
I'd say, based on how it held up after the rain yesterday, that the pitch is as good as any other season and we don't need any more cash for the pitch than we usually budget for.
How much concert cash are we talking about £50k or £250k?
When you add that to the significant unspent budget Gannon already has we can confidently expect some landmark (for non league anyway) signings when the transfer window opens.
