    Bury, like Bolton, were due to play in L1 this season with 12 points deduction.

    Bolton will fill their commitments and will almost certainly be relegated to L2.

    If the clubs vote to allow Bury to play in L2 next season, I cannot see how the EFL would not lumber them with at least a 12 point deduction and probably more.

    Let's see how many chancers there are who are willing to shell out millions to effectively buy a NL side.

    Also no guarantee that the NL would accept them.
