Sounds like he tried the Shane Warne type of humour and it backfired. They've won one out of eleven, he is their Captain and has mobility issues. He slows the game to suit his pace and no doubt reckons experience will take away the need for running. John Sheridan is losing his popularity and his close connection with Gerrard could see them both go before long. |
